Child Trafficking - Research

In Social Studies 'term 1' we have been learning about Child Slavery. For our project research we got to choose between topics of Child Slavery. The Topic I was very willing to learn about was Child Trafficking. I chose this topic because I was so surprised on such things that could happen through Child Trafficking and wanted to learn more about it.
Here's the research I have collected.

English

At the moment in English I am learning on how to write a 5 paragraph essay on film techniques, the movie chosen for this was "Hunt For The Wilder People".
The 3 aspects I'm looking at through the film is " Dialogue, Props, and Plot "
these aspects are tying into Ricky bakers and Paula halls relationship though out the movie.
I don't exactly have much to say about my essay so far as i have just started but I think so far it's going pretty well.

Social Studies

Seel paragraph on government...

 A seel paragraph is a brief paragraph on a topic of some kind. It is 4 paragraphs long. The " S " is for statement, " E " for explanation, another " E " for example, and lastly " L " for link.

These paragraphs are actually short there about 2-3 or more sentences per paragraph.

Government is a group of people with the authority to govern a country or state; a particular ministry in office. 

government is like a system to make equal rights for people and it can set and administers public policy and exercises executive, political and sovereign power through customs, institutions, and laws within a state.

The Purpose of our Federal Government, as found in the Preamble of the Constitution, is to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquillity, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity."

Overall this can show without a government the world would be chaos without the rules they create. Because without rules we have no limit to ourselves and we could just do what we want... ( Even CRIMES )

Bermuda Triangle

today's story I read in English is a book about mysterious sightings and weird things that  have happened in places. There were various of places that creepy things have happened and might still be happening to this day?! 

The story I chose to share is about the Bermuda Triangle.

The Bermuda Triangle is is the Atlantic ocean, the places that form the triangle are - Bermuda, Puertorico , and Miami Florida.

The Bermuda Triangle isn't an ordinary place. Mysterious things happen there such as, planes flying through the Triangle just disappear, never to be seen again. BUT the ones that are found everyone on the planes were missing and were never heard from again.

That's not all boats that sailed through were dragged under water and everyone one the boat also disappeared, years later one of the boats were found washed up on a beach with no wreckage no people nothing.

That's only two of the mysteries that have happened there but there could be more....

textiles

In sewing  we are making bags for our projects we do, out of recycled tops, this is a trial top I've recently done, I'll will be making something like this just a bit different next time.
 Right now thIs blog will look small with not much info because until I start my proper project.

Paper Making. 

For sustainability in my textiles class (sewing) we made paper.

This is to help our envorement and not waist so much paper that's ruined or something when u can use that to create a whole new more paper, instead of people keep going around killing more trees that could be saved by just making new paper from the paper we already have.

I wasn't hear for the whole process of the paper making but it was pretty fun doing the stuff I was here for.

Sustainability #1

What's is sustainability?

- sustainability is pretty much avoiding types of recorded to maintain an ecological balance.

What are some of the issues we face?

1- ACID RAIN- this is coursed from acid being out in our waters and then the sun is picking it up forming clouds that let out the acid rain.

2- WATER POLLUTION- this is where people are contaminating the water with many different things some are even polluting the water with acid.

3- AIR POLLUTION- is a mix between gases and mixed particals.

What can we do to be more sustainable in our lives?

-Reduce household energy.

-resell and donate items.

-save water.

-Turn off appliances and lights that u are not using.

-Hang clothes instead of using your dryer.

100 Facts On Space

In English we have 10 minutes to read any book we want and write a blog about it, today the book I chose to read was "100 facts On Space" I chose this book because i'm really interested by space and love to learn about planets and surroundings in space, I especially love learning about the moon.

Fact-

1- nothing could live on earth without the moon.
Deep in the suns center it is constantly making energy which keeps the sun glowing and hot, which will keep the earth warm.
So without the sun the earth would go cold and slowly as years go by the weather will reach way under -45°C

Opinion-

I think that this book would be great to read if you are really interested in space, you can learn so many different things that you probably never new was possible.

Narrative Writing

Teenagers vs Darkness 

In class we have been doing fairytale narrative writing, we got to do our writing about a fairytail, myth or legend.

For my writing a decided to do about Harry Potter but changed it up abit to teenagers vs darkness.

What we had to do with the story we chose was in our own words change it up abit and make it our own story.

Here's the writing I have so far:

It was one stormy Friday night and 3 friends were looking for some fun having and decided to sneak around the school at 8:12 pm, there names were Zak, Krissi, and Acea, they didn't even know how dark it actually was until they saw they walked around and went into an unlocked room with Windows all around it.

That's when they soon realised how late it actually was, so they decided to go home but what they didn't know is that someone was watching them… Following them… Hunting them… 

Problem:

They were all having a laugh and being silly teenagers hiding files, moving desks, all of that silly stuff but...

All of a sudden everyone froze of fear after hearing scratches on the window, footsteps in the halls, crying in different rooms.

Seeing shadows zoom past, whispers in there ears.

But not just that they felt a presence no one has ever felt before.

Came to be that the time had flown by and it was now 1:34 am, the noises went on and on for at least 10 minutes but every minute it got closer.. And closer…

At first they just thought it was the janitor so they hid underneath the teachers desk, krissi ended up running out of the classroom seeing if it really was the janitor.

But she cam flashing back in slamming the door and getting the most heaviest things she could lift and started blocking the door as much as she could.

The boys started getting worried and asked what was happening, krissi just exclaimed “ tell u after just block ever entrance and shut all windows and turn the lights off now!” 

They got everything blocked and made sure no one and I mean no one could see through any hole any gap nothing.

“Krissi what's going on!” Acea whispered in fear.

“I...I…” Krissi stuttered.

“Krissi?” Karl questioned.

“I… I… Saw this. This.. Black creature” krissi said in fright.

The boys had no idea what to say, they were just speechless.

It wasn't even just speechless they were to confused with what to say cause they didn't know if it was real or not cause krissi loves to do pranks like this all the time.

“ are you sure that your not just seeing stuff?” Karl questioned.

“NO, I am %100 sure that it was real” krissi said as she started to cry.

 As soon as krissi started crying that's as soon as the boys new that it wasn't a joke, they could just tell cause she wasn't saying anything just curled up
