Today I am going to explain to you how a Tsunami works and what it is.
The reason being is a Tsunami is Very common in some states, so it is good to be aware of a Tsunami and how u know if its about to occur.

First I will tell you what a Tsunami is.

A Tsunami is a huge Wave way bigger than a normal wave trust me there pretty huge.
It is disrupted and created by pressure under water by an earthquake or any other disturbance.

Now lets see how it works.

A first sign of a Tsunami is the tide going way back more than what it usually would, after that happening it could be anytime by then when the tectonic plates will crash together causing and earthquake and to cause water to rise then gravity will pull it back down causing the water to split. Half of that water would head to shore in full speed but as it goes it starts to slow down to allow it to what could get upto 100 ft tall, as its gotten as tall as it wants the water then will increase its speed and head straight to the shore.

If it gets big enough it could even reach all the way to the city. If that were to happen that would be real bad, not to scare you or anything but a Tsunami can kill up to 2430 people or even more.

Hope you learnt something new.
What do you think about my piece?
