Aim: I want to find out how to be safe in science




Equipment List:

Bucket
Water
Tube
Safety Glasses

Detergent


METHOD

1. Get A Bucket
2. Put In A Good Squirt Of Detergent
3. Fill The Bucket Half Way With cold water
4. put your safety glasses on, If You Got Long Hair Tie It Up-Pull Up Your Sleeves
5. Take Your Loose Clothing Off(if you are wearing loose clothing, if you are wearing a skirt you are all good)
6. Connect a tube up to the gas tap and then put the other end into the water
7. Turn On the gas and make some bubbles
8. Wet your hands and your wrists up to your elbows (with water)
9. Get a scoop of bubbles
10. hold the bubbles away from you face

      11.light the bottom of the bubbles in your hand with a lighter
      12.slowly open your hands (to make the fire disappear)

Doing

I rolled Up My sleeves because if I didn't I would Burn myself and get scarred for life.  Also If you didn't roll Up your sleeves and fire gets on the material your wearing will melt onto you and yet again scarred for life. SO BE CAREFUL!!!

EXPLAINING

WHY DOES FIRE GO UP???

A flame goes up because the denser surrounding air pushes it up. A flame consists of gases so hot they glow yellow, orange, and red. Hot gases expand and become less dense than the surrounding air. Therefore, the flame is lighter than an equal volume of air.

All I could smell is Gas.

All I could see was Flames rushing up in the air.

All I could feel was heat and excitement.

Coding

Coding Time!

Hey guys today Rimu class done coding. To me coding is really annoying because it took forever to load and it was only doing it to mine.
Also one time I was waiting for it to load I was waiting for 20 minutes that is pretty annoying. The most annoying thing was is that it was taking forever to load on mine but not on anyone elses.

2016 Year Reflection!

My Year At Gilberthorpe School!!!

Hey everyone It's me again today in Rimu we are doing a reflect of our year. I'm gussing that most of the year 6's including me will be talking about how we are going to intermediat next year witch is really sad.

I have had such great year at Gilberthorpe school. I am really going to miss my teacher Miss Waho:( Also all my friends who are year fives and 6's who is gong to a different high school. My best friend Sita might be going to intermediat with here choice.

The saddist part is that Sita might not be going to Hornby High for intermediat:( again. Lets get back to my reflection of the year.

Memories of Gilberthorpe:

1.This year I have been learning French with my BPFFF that stands for Best Paris Friends Forever. Me Sita we absolutly love Paris :O We are like so close together with Paris and together. 

2. I have made so much friends I just don't want to leave the school at all I just hope that Sita goes to hornby high intermediate at least so I still have my BFF. 

3. Another memorie is me teaching Hip Hop to performe in front of me hole school and there perants at the end of the year. I't is so exciting. Also me and Sita are making our own dance to Hip Hop to we are practicing today as well.

4. Somone called Levi taught us this samoan Dance for our Pasifika performance at Hornby high in the

Audatoriam. I't was so much fun and Sita missed out on it so I had to take her place:( but it was so much fun being in her spot because I got to be infront for the dance for the first time

5. Rata and Rimu went swimming I think that Tawa did to because I cant remember. went swimming at cantuberry swim school I recon I was a pro at the start well thats what I think I dont know if that was what my swim teachers thinked though. I think I done great though.

6. Also there is my Birthday I got so much stuff that is all PARIS!!! ovecours I get paris stuff I just absalutly love Paris. I would tell you what I got but I got so much you are going to be reading this for an  hour so I would tell you but I got so much cool and the best and awesome presants anyone can get. Ohh year I forgot to menchen I turned eleven.

Typing club

Typing Skills!

Hey guys today I have done Typing club I'm on lvl 89 now it is so exciting that means that I'm 11 levels away from completed the whole thing I am so excited.

Any way I have made a screen shot of what I am up to and how mauch accuracy I got.

Here it is:

 Typing club has really helped me with my speed on keys on devices I have really increased my speed and accuracy to. So I only got three stared because I got some words wrong but thats ok atlest I completed in.

So you see my Accuracy is 100% but my real Acurracy is 99% I dont know why it does that. Then you got my speed that is 32 WPM.

Then time is 114 seconds because the level I done was so long.

Now I dont know what Min Accuracy is or Min speed or Speed goal so I wont really tell you much about that.
